Welcome to the Weston Sailing Club website (“the Site”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Independent Organization

The Weston Sailing Club is an independent, volunteer-run program hosted at Sail Black Rock.

2. Assumption of Risk

Sailing is an activity that carries inherent risks, including injury or death. By participating in any club activities, events, regattas, or practices, you acknowledge these risks and agree to assume full responsibility for your own participation and that of your child.

3. Waivers and Permissions

Participation requires completion of required waivers, including but not limited to:
- Parental Permission & Liability Waiver (acknowledging health, swimming capability, and emergency authorization)
- Parent Code of Conduct (expectations of respectful conduct, honesty, and support for the team)
- Team Rules Agreement (attendance, behavior, substance-free participation, and consequences)

Failure to complete or comply with these forms may result in removal from the program.

4. Conduct and Participation

All sailors and parents/guardians agree to:
- Act with respect toward teammates, coaches, officials, and other participants.
- Refrain from harmful, intimidating, or disparaging conduct, online or in person.
- Follow team rules regarding attendance, eligibility, and behavior.
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws while participating.

Violations may result in suspension or dismissal from the program.

5. Website Use

The Site is provided for informational purposes only (schedules, results, photos, updates).
- Content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- The Club is not responsible for errors, omissions, or external links.
- Personal information submitted (such as through contact forms) will only be used for club communication and not sold or shared.

6. Intellectual Property

All photos, videos, and written content posted on this Site are the property of the Weston Sailing Club unless otherwise credited. You may not copy, reuse, or distribute them without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Club, its volunteers, coaches, and affiliates disclaim all liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation in sailing activities or from use of the Site.

8. Updates to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Site or participation in the program after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
